How do I upload Videos to Pathway?

Pathway now lets you upload video files directly to the Attachments tab. This should make it much easier to share things like screen recordings of issues or quick video walkthroughs and keep them within the project. 🎬

Here’s a quick rundown of how it works.

How to Upload a Video

It's super simple and works just like uploading any other document.

1. Head over to the Attachments tab in the project you're working on.
2. Click the upload button to open the file finder.
3. Select the video file you want to attach from your computer.

And that's it! Your video will be uploaded and listed with your other attachments. Easy as that. 

Viewing an Uploaded Video

Once your video is uploaded, anyone with access can view it.

To watch the video, just click on the file name in the attachments list. It will automatically open in a new browser tab for you to watch or download.

Important Information

• Playback: videos won't play directly inside the application. They will always open in a new tab.
• File Size: There is a file size limit of 20MB.
• Supported File Types: We support a whole range of common video formats, including MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI, and many more. The full list is: mp4, m4v, mpeg, mpg, ogv, ogg, webm, mov, avi, mkv, flv, wmv, 3gp, and 3g2.
• Gallery Function: This update only applies to the Attachments tab and does not change how the 'Gallery' or 'Atom' features work.
