As a Pathway User, you can update jobs that are currently in progress within Atom. This allows you to ensure job details like assigned tradespeople and scheduled dates/times are accurate, especially for long-standing projects.
Prerequisites
Before you can edit an in-progress job, please ensure:
- The job you wish to edit is already marked as "in progress" in Atom.
Editing Job Details
Switching the Lead Tradesperson
You can change the primary tradesperson assigned to an in-progress job.
- To switch the lead tradesperson, please use the calendar view drag-and-drop interface.
- Warning Message: After switching the lead tradesperson, you will see a warning message. This message will alert you to potential data conflicts or loss, and will indicate that data from the previous lead tradesperson has been uploaded. Please review this message carefully.
Adding or Removing Tradespeople
You have the flexibility to add or remove other tradespeople from an in-progress job as needed.
- To add a tradesperson, navigate to the job details and select the option to add a team member. To remove a tradesperson, select the tradesperson you wish to remove and choose the corresponding option.
- Warning Message: When you add or remove a tradesperson, a warning message will appear. This message will caution you about potential data conflicts or loss. Please review this message before proceeding.
Updating Scheduled Dates and Times
You can modify both the overall job schedule and specific task timings within an in-progress job.
- To update the overall date/time of the main job, locate the scheduling section within the job details and make your adjustments.
- To update specific dates/times for individual tasks within the job, navigate to the relevant task details and modify their schedules accordingly.
