Overview
The project status change feature allows users with ‘Admin’ permission to change a project’s status without raising a support ticket. However, users can only move a project status backwards to ensure no steps requiring vital information are skipped. Any actions related to the project in the previous status will not be triggered, but as the status is moved forward again, actions (such as email/SMS communications) will be sent accordingly.
The feature is accessible as an action button along with other action buttons on the left-hand side of the project page.
Important Notes:
-
Users cannot change the status of a project that is currently ARCHIVED or ON HOLD.
-
Status changes are audited and recorded in the Activity tab.
Steps to Change a Project Status
-
Click on the ‘Project Status Actions’ dropdown in the Actions box.
-
Select the status you wish to revert the project back to. A confirmation box will appear.
-
Click on the ‘Yes’ button to confirm the status change.
-
The change may take a short time to process. Once finalised, the screen should refresh automatically. If not, refresh the screen manually.
How to Identify Who Changed a Project Status
-
