What is it?
This unsupported Google Chrome Extension allows Pathway users to see valuable insights into their projects, such as average time to complete, time in status and SLA alerts.
With an OpenAI API key, you can enhance your experience using basic AI functionality that provides ideas on how to reduce workflow bottlenecks. Please note: AI access is not required to use the extension, and customers must use their own OpenAI key to enable this part of the plug-in.
How do I Install it?
You can install the Chrome Extension by following the link below (the extension is listed as private, so it can only be accessed with the URL below): https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/jumptech-insights-beta/kbediapilicbghcmhmjonpgdeemloihm
How does it work?
Once installed, you must be logged into your Pathway account to use it.
The settings for the extension will be available from the jigsaw icon, normally located to the right of the URL bar.
Click the Jumptech Insights (Beta) icon to open the settings menu:
You don't have to configure anything in here if you don't want to, but if you do want to use alerts, owner filters, SLA rules, and Average Time to Completion reports, you can set this all up in the settings page. To use the Extension, when you're on a Jumptech page, you'll see a new floating Jumptech icon.
Clicking this will open your search filters. The Free Form Search will allow you to search for projects ad hoc that are over a set threshold, i.e., all projects that are over 5 days old, or in the example below, all 'Domestic Battery Installation' project types that are over 5 days old.
Please be aware that the wider the search, the longer the results can take to load. This Chrome Extension pulls all of the information about the projects onto your local computer to perform the calculations, so larger datasets may take longer, depending on your computer specs. If it appears to hang, you can simply reload the page to reset the extension.
SLA Filters: This allows you to define multiple SLAs per project type and run a report that shows any projects that are close or over the defined SLA threshold.
Example SLA filter settings:
If you have set up SLA filters in the settings screen, then you can use the SLA-Only search toggle. You can select all SLA's, or select one or more from the filters you created in the settings page.
Project Average Time to Complete
If you want to see how long on average your project takes to complete, you can use the Fetch Time to Completion button. Before you do, you should define what each project's completed status is, as different project types can have different end statuses. You can define the end status for a project in the settings screen.
Example Project Completed Statuses settings:
